Qualifications:

• Must be highly qualified by one of the following:
  • Successfully pass the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (documented proof required), or
  • Have at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required—pictures of diplomas do not qualify)
• Experience as a school paraprofessional or related field strongly preferred
• Willingness and capability to assist with toileting as part of daily support duties
• Comfort supporting students in center-based (Setting 2-3) caseloads
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Organized, compassionate, and reliable in fulfilling responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group support to students, implementing accommodations, and supporting instructional activities as directed by teaching staff
• Assist in classrooms with students who have diverse learning and personal care needs, including toileting support
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with education teams
• Uphold the expectations and policies outlined by the district and school
