Qualifications:
- Must be highly qualified by one of the following:
- Successfully pass the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (documented proof required), or
- Have at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required—pictures of diplomas do not qualify)
- Experience as a school paraprofessional or related field strongly preferred
- Willingness and capability to assist with toileting as part of daily support duties
- Comfort supporting students in center-based (Setting 2-3) caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- Organized, compassionate, and reliable in fulfilling responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group support to students, implementing accommodations, and supporting instructional activities as directed by teaching staff
- Assist in classrooms with students who have diverse learning and personal care needs, including toileting support
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with education teams
- Uphold the expectations and policies outlined by the district and school
