Your qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience or interest in working as a paraprofessional in a school setting.
• Must meet Minnesota’s “Highly Qualified Para” requirement by one of the following:
  • Pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam), or
  • Have at least 60 college credits and be able to provide official transcripts (diplomas or degrees are not sufficient).
• Experience supporting students in special education or behavioral programs is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach and ability to collaborate with school teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist teachers and specialists by supporting academic, behavioral, and social needs of students.
• Work with K–12 students individually and in small groups within the Setting 4 program.
• Help implement individualized education plans and behavioral interventions as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide feedback regarding student progress.
• Uphold a welcoming and structured classroom environment each school day.

Role highlights:

• Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 2:45 PM, through the fall semester.
