Instructional Aide in Anoka, MN

This contract opportunity is designed for those passionate about working with 2 ½ to 3-year-old students and eager to foster growth during a crucial stage of development. The role begins September 8, 2026, and continues through December 7, 2026, offering consistent, weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional, preferably with early childhood or center-based programs
• Highly qualified status required through one of the following: • Passing score on the MN Para Educator Exam • Completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; diplomas or degrees are not accepted)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to establish trust with very young children
• Must submit both an up-to-date resume and proof of high qualification (either exam results or transcripts); applications without these documents cannot be considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to lead instructional staff, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment
• Assist with individualized activities tailored to students’ developmental needs
• Facilitate positive classroom behaviors and encourage children’s social-emotional and academic growth
• Support implementation of therapy, enrichment, and play-based learning when needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and program participation
