Your compassion, patience, and commitment will ensure the student receives the tailored support they need. The school is seeking a female paraprofessional who is experienced in working with students with disabilities and is comfortable assisting with feeding and toileting needs.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Prior paraprofessional experience within school settings
  • Background in supporting elementary students with disabilities
  • Comfort with feeding, toileting, and personal care assistance
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with teachers and staff
  • Ability to foster a positive, encouraging environment for learning
  • Reliability and professionalism for a consistent 32.5-hour workweek
  • Female candidates with relevant experience are strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, one-on-one support to a student, ensuring safety and engagement throughout the school day
  • Assist with daily living skills, including feeding and toileting, with discretion and sensitivity
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other educational staff
  • Encourage participation and independence tailored to the student's needs
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and observations
