Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or special education teacher preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and individualized student support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide morning support (3 hours daily) in classroom settings alongside special education teachers
  • Assist with lesson implementation, behavior management, and adapting materials for individual needs
  • Encourage students’ participation and independence through attentive supervision and assistance
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to maintain an engaging, safe, and respectful learning environment
  • Document progress and communicate regularly with team members regarding student achievement
