Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional or similar support role
• Understanding of Resource/Inclusion support and 1:1 student assistance
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Patience, flexibility, and genuine interest in fostering student independence
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education a plus

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 assistance to a Resource/Inclusion student throughout the school day
• Support the student’s participation in both academic and social activities
• Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom teachers, and administrators
• Help implement individualized plans and strategies to advance student learning and skills
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom setting and reinforce goals set by the educational team
• Monitor and report on student progress and needs
