Instructional Assistant Needed for the 26/27 School Year

We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to support students in a Self-Contained Sustained Support Special Education classroom. This position works closely with the Special Education Teacher to provide academic, behavioral, and daily living support for students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academics, behavior, and social-emotional development.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals and behavior plans.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Collect student data and document progress.
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and personal care needs as required.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive, student-centered approach.
• Previous special education or behavioral support experience is a plus.
