Key Requirements:
- Two completed professional RefAssured references required at time of application (candidates without references will not be considered)
- Demonstrated behavioral intervention expertise, preferably in school environments
- Substantial experience with significant/severe caseloads strongly preferred
- Flexible mindset—openness to working in multiple schools and adapting to changing assignments
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting; public transit or rideshare options do not meet district standards
- Ability to start promptly in the morning (7:40am for elementary or 8:00am for middle/high school settings)
- Willingness to assist students with toileting and diapering as needed
- Must consent to immediate fingerprinting post-offer; any criminal charges (felony or misdemeanor) result in disqualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to students with diverse behavioral and academic needs
- Implement intervention strategies and support plans as directed by teachers and educational specialists
- Adapt to varying assignments and diverse student populations throughout the school year
- Help students with daily living activities, promoting their independence and dignity
- Record student progress and collaborate with staff to enhance outcomes
