This position requires professionals who are confident in handling significant or severe caseloads, particularly in educational environments. You will be supporting students aged 18-21+ through Transition Services, assisting with life skills development in community-based settings. Your background in behavior management, as well as experience with communication devices, will help you excel in this setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Strong behavioral support background, preferably from school-based roles
  • Experience with significant or severe caseloads is strongly preferred
  • Prior work with young adults with disabilities, especially around life transitions
  • Familiarity with communication devices used by students with disabilities
  • Ability to assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and diapering
  • Reliable personal transportation (public options not considered reliable)
  • Availability to report to work by 8:00am daily
  • Must provide two completed professional RefAssured references at submission—absolutely required
  • Willingness to complete immediate fingerprinting upon offer (no charges permitted)
  • Must note their location when presenting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral and educational support to students in transition programs
  • Implement recommendations for behavior management and support communication needs
  • Foster independence and life skills in community-based environments
  • Support personal care needs as required
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student progress

The contract runs from August 11 through May 21, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week in a highly supportive school environment.
