Support a student’s success through personalized 1:1 or 2:1 care in an engaging school setting located in Aurora, CO. This contract role offers approximately 15 hours per week, with daily shifts split between mornings and afternoons, providing a consistent schedule to balance work and life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 or 2:1 support to students requiring focused attention during bus transportation and school activities
- Assist students with educational tasks, personal care, and mobility as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to ensure individualized needs are met effectively
- Monitor and ensure student safety during assigned shifts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is welcomed
- Ability to commit to the scheduled hours: 90 minutes in the morning between 6:30 am and 8:30 am, and 90 minutes in the afternoon between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with children requiring 1:1 care
- Dependability and a positive attitude toward supporting students’ educational and personal growth
Schedule & Duration:
- Approximately 3 hours daily (split between AM and PM shifts), totaling around 15 hours weekly
- Position duration from now until May 29, 2026
- Hours vary slightly by site but generally fall within the specified morning and afternoon windows
