Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or credentials a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and instructional support
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing extra help
  • Support students with special needs, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor classroom behavior and foster a positive, respectful atmosphere
  • Help prepare learning materials and set up activities
  • Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, cafeterias, or on field trips
  • Communicate regularly with teachers regarding student progress and needs
