Key Qualifications:

• Active Educational Technician II or III certification is required.
• Experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings, supporting children with diverse learning needs.
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive, empowering, and engaging classroom culture.
• Patience, flexibility, and a collaborative approach to working alongside lead teachers and related service providers.
• Excellent communication skills for effective partnership with staff, students, and families.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional and behavioral support to elementary students.
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing a life skill-based curriculum.
• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure accommodations are in place for student success.
• Foster a safe and encouraging environment where every child can thrive academically and personally.
• Help with daily routines, group activities, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate observations to the educational team.
