Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Technician II or III certification is required
• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly preferred
• Adept at supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to adapt to classroom needs
• Understanding of life skill-based education and individualized student support

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with life skill-based curriculum activities in K-5 classrooms
• Work under the guidance of classroom teachers to provide individualized or small-group support
• Help manage classroom behavior, foster independence, and encourage positive interactions among students
• Collaborate with team members to implement educational and behavioral interventions
• Maintain detailed records and communicate observations to teaching staff as needed
