As a key member of the educational team, you’ll have the chance to positively impact students in grades spanning early childhood through high school, adapting to a variety of classrooms and collaborating closely with educators and staff. Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (no exceptions; must be uploaded at time of application)
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar student-support role highly valued
• Flexibility and willingness to float between assigned school sites as scheduling needs change
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
• Willingness to obtain $85 CBC fingerprinting clearance prior to start
• Ability to work the scheduled hours for middle, high, or elementary/EC schools

Responsibilities:

• Provide paraprofessional support as needed across various campuses within the district
• Follow lesson plans, assist classroom teachers, and support students’ diverse learning needs
• Adapt quickly to different educational environments and age groups
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with educators to reinforce lesson objectives and manage classroom routines

What You’ll Experience:

• Contract starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027
• Monday–Friday, 35-hour work weeks with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Guaranteed minimum of 30 paid hours each week school is in full session
