Qualifications
- Previous paraprofessional or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to student needs
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
- Understanding of student confidentiality and professional boundaries
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
- Support students with academic tasks and learning objectives
- Implement IEP goals and behavior support plans as directed
- Maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities
- Provide additional support to students requiring individualized assistance
