Instructional Assistant - Bellingham, Washington

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or with special education is highly valued

• Relevant certifications or completion of required state paraprofessional qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to students and instructional staff
• Assist with individualized or small-group instruction and academic activities
• Support students with social, behavioral, and educational needs as directed by teaching staff
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or learning plans
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Maintain accurate documentation and open communication with the educational team
