Make a difference supporting student growth and positive classroom environments as a behavior support provider in an innovative K-12 educational setting. The district is actively seeking paraprofessionals, behavior specialists, and ABA professionals to join a dedicated team as part of an evolving behavior support program. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate individuals ready to contribute to a dynamic new phase for the 26/27 school year.

This opportunity spans four buildings and offers full-time assignments at 35–37.5 hours per week during the academic year (August through June). With a district BCBA overseeing the program and additional support from external BCBA supervision for RBTs, you’ll gain valuable guidance and ongoing development.

Key Qualities and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional, RBT, behavior specialist, or in ABA settings preferred
  • Knowledge of implementing behavior intervention plans and working with students exhibiting diverse needs
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a school environment
  • Comfort collaborating with a multidisciplinary education team
  • Commitment to promoting student empowerment and inclusion
  • Desire to contribute feedback and ideas to a newly rebuilt program

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Directly supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional needs across K-12
  • Assisting with and implementing behavior management strategies under BCBA guidance
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and specialists to tailor interventions
  • Participating in program development and pilot initiatives during the 26/27 year
  • Upholding a positive and safe atmosphere for learning
