Paraprofessional (Para) School-Based

We are seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to join a school district for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple openings are available across various grade levels, offering the opportunity to support students in a collaborative educational environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: August 6, 2026
• End Date: May 19, 2027
• Schedule: 35 hours per week
• Setting: Onsite
• Openings: 5 positions available
• Grade Levels: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and High School

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to students and teaching staff
• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs
• Support self-contained and specialty classroom environments
• Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in school or classroom settings preferred
• Experience supporting students with behavioral needs strongly preferred
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care when required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and abilities

Additional Information

• Greatest need is within self-contained specialty classrooms at the high school level.
• Candidates with extensive classroom experience and experience supporting behavioral needs are highly encouraged to apply.
