Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified paraprofessional to join our team in the Willow Chute, LA area. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers and supporting students in their academic and social development. You will work closely with students, including those with special needs, to create an inclusive and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in the classroom.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet the needs of all students.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• State paraprofessional certification
• Experience in schools and ASL is required
• Strong experience in special education and or general education assistance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for working with students and supporting their learning journey.
