In this valuable role, you'll work directly with students both one-on-one and in group classroom settings, collaborating closely with lead teachers and supervisors to promote a positive and effective educational experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 assistance and general classroom support for students with special needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and supervisory staff to implement daily instructional activities
• Follow individualized education and personal progress plans (IEPs, PPTs) tailored to each student’s unique learning goals
• Support students’ participation in classroom routines and learning tasks
• Assist in the supervision and engagement of students throughout the day
• Offer physical support to students as required, including toileting assistance

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or directly related field experience
• One of the following: Paraprofessional Certification, Associate’s degree, or at least 60 college credits
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and encouraging attitude
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all students
