Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with classroom operations, academic support, or special education assistance
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, teachers, and staff
  • Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions, manage tasks independently, and foster a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and instructional support
  • Provide individualized or small group assistance to students needing additional guidance
  • Support students with special educational needs, reinforcing learning and behavioral goals
  • Help maintain classroom organization, safety, and a nurturing environment
  • Track student progress, prepare materials, and assist with recordkeeping when required
  • Foster student engagement and communicate concerns or progress to teaching staff
