Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with classroom operations, academic support, or special education assistance
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, teachers, and staff
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
- Ability to follow instructions, manage tasks independently, and foster a positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and instructional support
- Provide individualized or small group assistance to students needing additional guidance
- Support students with special educational needs, reinforcing learning and behavioral goals
- Help maintain classroom organization, safety, and a nurturing environment
- Track student progress, prepare materials, and assist with recordkeeping when required
- Foster student engagement and communicate concerns or progress to teaching staff
