Key Qualifications:

• Active substitute certification listed on the DESE website (required)
• Experience supporting K-12 students, ideally in SPED or behavioral support settings
• Comfortable with toileting, changing, and assisting with personal care and behavior management
• Willingness to float between various K-12 campuses as needed
• Flexible approach to working across 1:1 assignments and general classroom support
• Ability to pass required background screenings and fingerprinting

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and staff in both academic and behavioral interventions
• Provide support in SPED classrooms, adapting to a range of student needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to facilitate student success
• Support students with daily routines, including personal care where necessary
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress and incidents
