Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Substitute Certificate (active on DESE website) or ParaPro Exam with transcripts on file
• Previous experience in educational settings, ideally supporting students with special needs
• Comfort with personal care tasks, including toileting and behavioral support
• Adaptable to working at multiple locations and grade levels (K–12)
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, aides, therapists, and families
• Willingness to float between sites as needed and implement behavior intervention plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students in SPED classrooms, including 1:1 and general classroom support
• Implement academic and behavioral support strategies under the direction of certified staff
• Assist with personal care needs in a respectful, dignified manner
