What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Prior experience with students who have severe disabilities, preferably in an educational environment
• Demonstrated ability to support medically fragile individuals
• Knowledge of or experience following behavior plans
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment—experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus, but not necessary
• Flexible, patient, and resilient approach to daily challenges
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic and positive communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering adaptive educational content to students
• Implement individualized behavior and care plans under expert guidance
• Provide physical and emotional support for students with complex medical and physical needs
• Help with personal care tasks and use of assistive equipment as needed
• Monitor student well-being throughout the day and maintain thorough documentation
• Foster a positive, accessible environment for all learners
