Key qualifications and experience requirements:

• Associate degree, at least 48 college credits, or a passing score on an approved ParaPro, CDA, or PaTTAN assessment
• Ability to complete required clearances, including PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Criminal History, FBI Fingerprinting, and drug screening
• Dedication to professional development, including a commitment to completing 20 hours of annual job-related training
• Experience supporting young learners, especially in Pre-K settings, is highly valued
• Flexibility and adaptability to float between various district buildings as needs change

Primary responsibilities:

• Serve as a paraprofessional supporting Pre-K students
• Initially cover a medical leave at the district’s main office, working with established teams and routines
• Transition to providing paraprofessional support across multiple district schools as a long-term floating resource
• Assist in daily classroom operations, student engagement, and individual or group activities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, service providers, and administrators to enhance students’ educational experiences

This role ensures a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, with meaningful opportunities to develop professionally while making a difference in the lives of students.
