Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Illinois Professional Educator License (IL PEL) required
• Experience as a paraprofessional or supporting students in K-12 education preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional support and classroom management
• Work directly with students to reinforce material introduced by teachers
• Provide individualized attention to students when necessary
• Support inclusion of all students, adapting materials and strategies for diverse learners
• Monitor student engagement and behavior, offering positive guidance
• Assist in supervising students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks
• Help with preparation and organization of instructional materials and resources
