You’ll work closely with teachers and students to foster an environment that encourages learning, growth, and inclusivity.

Successful candidates will play a key role in providing assistance in the classroom, working with students one-on-one or in small groups, and helping deliver instructional and behavioral support. You’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on enriching educational experiences and supporting students’ individual needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
• Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward supporting students of varying abilities
• Understanding of classroom routines and willingness to follow established guidelines
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or college coursework in education preferred)
• Background check and relevant clearances required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the guidance of teachers and special education staff
• Assist with implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Promote positive social interactions and reinforce appropriate behavior
• Engage students in classroom activities and encourage participation
• Support teacher-led instruction and help adapt materials as needed
• Supervise students during meals, recess, and transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents
