Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support position
• Familiarity with educational practices and classroom procedures
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, adaptability, and genuine interest in nurturing student growth
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying learning styles and abilities
• Team-oriented, but also comfortable working independently as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Offer one-on-one and small group support to reinforce lesson material
• Support students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Help facilitate classroom organization, maintain student records, and monitor progress
• Encourage a positive, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for all students
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as lunch, recess, or field trips
• Foster effective communication between teachers, students, and families
