Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Meets NCLB Requirements:
  • Holds an Associate's degree or higher, or
  • Possesses sufficient college credits, or
  • Has successfully passed the Parapro Assessment Examination
• Demonstrated previous experience in a school behavioral or special education setting, or directly related experience
• Ability to effectively assist in supervising and instructing special education students
• Strong commitment to supporting educational and behavioral objectives for diverse learners

Responsibilities:

• Partner with teachers to implement IEP and PPT goals for special education students
• Deliver one-on-one and group support in both classroom and individual settings
• Foster a supportive learning environment, helping students achieve academic and behavioral progress
• Assist in supervising student activities as directed by educators and supervisors
• Promote positive behaviors and reinforce the school’s educational values
