What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with students in grades K–12, especially within special education or behavioral support settings
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
• Adaptability and patience for supporting individual learning and varied classroom needs
• Willingness to assist with academic tasks, behavior interventions, and daily classroom routines
• Commitment to maintaining a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere
• Ability to start as soon as possible and continue through the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide focused support for students either one-on-one or in small classroom groups
• Assist with implementing lesson plans under teacher direction
• Foster a welcoming classroom by reinforcing positive behavior and providing emotional encouragement
• Help with classroom organization and materials management
• Work closely with special education and general education staff to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication as needed
