Instructional Assistant - Bridgeton, New Jersey

Two contract positions are available for skilled paraprofessionals ready to step in as a vital part of the educational team. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to foster growth and confidence in students on either a one-on-one basis. Candidates will have the option to work with an elementary student or a secondary grade student in a self-contained classroom, making a lasting difference in their educational journey.

• Experience in school-based settings, especially in paraprofessional roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare instructional materials, worksheets, and engaging classroom displays
• Take daily attendance, grade student papers or tests, and record academic data
• Support students with reading, writing, and mathematics assignments as directed
• Provide supervision in the classroom, hallways, lunchroom, recess, and during field trips
• Help minimize distractions and keep students focused on learning tasks
