Teacher's Aide | Bristol, New Hampshire

Two full-time contract opportunities are available assisting individual students in elementary and middle school environments just outside Bristol, NH. Both positions center on fostering a positive learning experience for students who benefit from dedicated one-on-one guidance.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Paraeducator I or II certification is required
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional is appreciated, yet not mandatory
• Skilled in student engagement, positive behavioral support, and maintaining patience and empathy
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, counselors, and families
• Flexible approach and ability to adapt instructional strategies as needed

Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with a designated student, providing daily support to help with emotional regulation, behavioral needs, and task engagement
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to implement individualized support plans
• Help the student develop independence, social skills, and coping strategies to ensure full participation in school activities
• Ensure a safe, encouraging classroom environment
• Collect and share observations on student progress to inform team strategies
• No toileting duties are required for these assignments

Both roles follow consistent weekday hours: the elementary assignment runs 8:00 am to 2:30 pm (32.5 hours/week), while the middle school assignment is 8:00 am to 2:40 pm (33.5 hours/week). Contracts run through June 17th, 2027—delivering stability and the chance to truly impact students’ school journeys.
