Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Completion of an Associate’s degree or higher is required
• Background working with students with both verbal and non-verbal autism
• Proven experience reading and implementing behavioral intervention plans
• Strong teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and other support professionals
• Ability to establish positive, supportive relationships with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group support to students, following specific IEP and behavior plan guidelines
• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere for all students
• Implement strategies to support students’ learning, communication, and social skills
• Monitor and document student progress, behaviors, and interventions accurately
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute insights on student needs and progress
• Model positive behavior and reinforce school expectations consistently
