This position spans the entire academic year, from August 18, 2026, to June 10, 2027. You’ll work Monday through Friday, contributing 37.5 hours each week to directly assist students and collaborate closely with educators.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or educational assistant within school settings
• Demonstrated expertise supporting students with mild to moderate behavioral needs
• Comfortable providing toileting and personal care support to younger children as necessary
• Ability to adapt to a variety of age groups and academic environments from pre-K through high school
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to creating nurturing, structured, and responsive learning experiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers and special education staff in daily instruction and classroom management
• Provide individualized and small-group support to students with diverse needs
• Supervise students to ensure safety and positive behavior throughout the school day
• Support students’ personal care tasks, including toileting for younger age groups when required
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents
• Foster encouraging relationships with students, teachers, and parents
