Your experience working with students in a school setting—especially those with mild to moderate behavioral needs—will be invaluable. Compassion, patience, and adaptability are key, as you’ll provide hands-on assistance to educators and ensure younger children receive personal care, including toileting support when necessary. Each week offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, fostering a positive school climate and encouraging student growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a paraprofessional role within schools
  • Comfortable supporting diverse learners (pre-K through high school)
  • Skilled with behavior management strategies for mild to moderate needs
  • Ability to assist small children with toiletry and personal care
  • Effective communicator and strong collaborator
  • Reliable, organized, and flexible in adapting to caseload changes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with students individually or in small groups within classroom settings
  • Support teachers with instruction, classroom management, and behavior interventions
  • Provide personal care to young children as needed
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for students at various grade levels
  • Adjust support throughout the school year based on changing caseloads and student requirements
