Qualifications:

• Must meet “highly qualified para” standards
• Completion of at least two years (60 semester credits or equivalent) of college coursework from an accredited institution
  OR
• Possession of an associate degree or higher
  OR
• Successful completion of a formal assessment or competency grid (such as the parapro test)
• Experience supporting students in a classroom setting is highly desired
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct support to students under the guidance of teachers, helping reinforce lessons and assist with instructional activities
• Adapt learning materials for individual student needs, ensuring every learner has access to success
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged and respected
• Assist with classroom management, organization of materials, and daily routines to create a productive space for learning
• Collaborate with fellow staff members and contribute to ongoing improvement of classroom support strategies
