What you’ll bring to the table:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Patience, flexibility, and an empathetic approach to working with students of varied backgrounds and needs
• Ability to assist with classroom management and reinforce learning activities under the direction of lead teachers
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or higher education preferred
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers with instructional activities and classroom organization
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs
• Supporting students in following routines and staying on task
• Preparing educational materials and helping set up learning centers
• Supervising students in various settings such as the classroom, lunchroom, or playground
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment where all learners feel valued
• Assisting with record-keeping and data collection as needed
