Three full-time opportunities are available for dedicated paraprofessionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in educational settings. These contract positions are ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are open to travel, providing valuable support to students and teachers on-site throughout the academic year. The term for these roles spans from September 1, 2026, to June 3, 2027, offering stability and the chance to grow professionally.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree or Paraeducator certification required
- Previous experience working with children or in school settings preferred
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Flexibility to work within various educational environments, including special and general education
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction by assisting teachers with lesson preparation and activities
- Deliver individualized or small-group instruction as directed
- Monitor student behavior and engagement, providing encouragement and guidance
- Implement accommodations and modifications to meet student needs
- Assist with daily classroom routines and provide general supervision
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all students
- Maintain confidentiality in all student matters
Available Caseloads:
- Special Education Paraprofessional (Setting IV): 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
- General Education Paraprofessional: 6.75 hours per day, 33.75 hours per week
