Key Qualifications:

• Previous paraprofessional experience within a school setting preferred
• Ability to assist in both general education and lifeskills classrooms
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and classroom situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and a positive, supportive attitude toward students
• Capability to follow educator-guided instructional plans and specialized interventions

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers and special education staff in daily classroom activities
• Provide 1:1 and small group assistance to students who may need extra support
• Work effectively in lifeskills rooms, adapting to varying student needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise students throughout the school day and ensure their wellbeing
• Assist with classroom management, organization, and learning materials

Position Details:

• Contract assignment: Immediate start through June 5, 2026
• Two full-time openings: High School (7:15 am – 2:45 pm) & Elementary (8:00 am – 3:30 pm)
• Positions may be extended for ESY (Extended School Year) or NSY (New School Year) based on district needs
• These roles are for leaves of absence—permanent employees may return next year, though no set timeframe has been determined
