Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience working in a school setting as a paraprofessional or educational aide
• Ability to assist students with classroom activities and assignments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with students and staff
• Patience, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assist teachers with instructional tasks, classroom management, and preparation of materials
• Encourage and assist students in staying on task and participating in activities
• Foster a welcoming, safe environment that promotes student confidence and independence
• Support students with behavioral or social challenges, utilizing positive and respectful strategies
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisory staff to ensure an inclusive learning experience for all students
