Instructional Aide - Carlsbad, CA

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, particularly in school settings or with children and adolescents
• Understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and a compassionate, patient approach
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and students
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in a variety of situations
• High school diploma or higher; relevant coursework or certification preferred
• Must be reliable, punctual, and ready to commit to a full-time schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students requiring behavioral and academic assistance throughout the school day
• Reinforce teacher-led instruction and implement individual behavior plans
• Guide students through class activities, transitions, and social interactions
• Assist with documenting student progress and behavioral data
• Encourage a safe and respectful environment for all learners
• Partner with educators and support staff to develop and maintain effective strategies
