Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavior Aide, especially within school settings
- Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies
- Ability to build rapport with students and motivate positive behaviors
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive in dynamic classroom environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers and special education staff in daily activities and behavior support
- Monitor and encourage student engagement, participation, and positive behavior
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of licensed professionals
- Support students with special needs to access curriculum and participate in school routines
- Document and track student progress, providing feedback to education teams
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
