Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavior Aide, especially within school settings
• Familiarity with implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies
• Ability to build rapport with students and motivate positive behaviors
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive in dynamic classroom environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers and special education staff in daily activities and behavior support
• Monitor and encourage student engagement, participation, and positive behavior
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of licensed professionals
• Support students with special needs to access curriculum and participate in school routines
• Document and track student progress, providing feedback to education teams
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
