Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or teaching assistant in a K-12 school environment is highly valued
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or completed associate’s degree preferred
• Ability to assist students with diverse learning needs and adapt to various classroom environments
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
• Capable of following teacher direction and school protocols effectively

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students under the guidance of classroom teachers
• Assist with small group and one-on-one learning activities
• Help implement academic plans and accommodations as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Support students with daily assignments, classroom routines, and transitions
• Monitor student progress and document observations for the educational team
• Contribute proactively to classroom management and student engagement
