Position: Full Time Elementary School Paraprofessional Position

Location: Carlsbad, CA 92008

Hourly Pay: 28/hr

Contract: 8/12/26 - 6/3/2027 - 30/hrs per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges

• Assist elementary-middle school students with toileting or Life Skill needs

• Provide one-on-one support to Nonverbal student with special needs

• Help with the preparation of learning materials for severe caseloads

• Assist specialists as directed for school readiness, and pre-academics, facilitating social interactions during recess and group activities.

• Assisting students with communication disorders classroom setting and implementation of IEP notes

Qualifications: 

• An Associate's Degree preferred 

• Must have at least 1 year of Paraprofessional or related experience in a Elementary school setting working with ABA and Behavioral students 

• Must have reliable transportation (Bus, Uber, taxi, etc not considered reliable)

• First Aid/CPR and a CPI trained certified is a plus
