School ParaProfessional

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate ParaProfessional for a school in the Champaign area.

This is a full-time position serving students in the district for the remainder of the school year via classroom roles or 1:1 student care.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am - 3pm
• 35-40 Hours Per Week
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Classroom Management or Direct Student 1:1 care for Special Education and Medically fragile students

Qualifications:

• Highschool or higher education degrees
• Current Illinois Para Educator License
• Clear Criminal Background for IL Schools (no arrests in past)
• Experience working with K-12 children in Special Education classrooms
• Ability to provide current manager level references from similar positions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for working with school-aged children
