Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in an educational setting
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and faculty
• Adaptable and responsive to rapidly changing needs in a school setting
• Comfortable assisting with academic and behavioral support under the direction of certified teachers
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups
• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and lesson implementation
• Support students with special needs, helping to meet their educational and personal care requirements
• Monitor student progress, documenting and reporting observations as necessary
