• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or in another student-support role
• Familiarity with supporting K-12 students or a strong interest in working in education
• Ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs
• Clear communication and a cooperative, flexible approach with teachers and staff
• Dependable, punctual, and available during scheduled school hours (7:30 am to 3:30 pm) throughout the academic year
• Preference given to those residing nearby for consistent on-site support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class and small-group assistance, reinforcing instructional objectives and encouraging student participation
• Help maintain an organized, positive, and inclusive classroom environment for all learners
• Work closely with teachers to deliver accommodations and implement individualized education plans as needed
• Supervise students during instructional and transitional periods, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere
• Assist with classroom preparation, material distribution, and other supportive duties as directed by educational staff
