Paraprofessional Special Needs Classroom Support

We are hiring a Elementary School Paraprofessional for the 2026/2027 school year to support students in grades 6-8, assist teachers with classroom tasks, and help students with special learning needs. Qualified candidates should have an Associates or higher education credits and experience working with children. If no degree, candidates should have at least 5 years experience in similar setting with Special Education.

Key Responsibilities: Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson plans. Work with small groups or individual students who need extra help. Assist students with special needs and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Help manage classroom behavior and keep a safe learning space. Monitor students during lunch, recess, or hallway transitions.

Job Requirements

Associate degree or 60 college hours preferred. Pass a state background check and fingerprinting. Good communication and teamwork skills. Patience and a passion for helping middle school students learn. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or higher education credits and experience working with children.
