Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dynamic behavior program currently undergoing exciting redevelopment. Skilled professionals with experience as Paraprofessionals, Behavior Specialists, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), or in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are needed to join a K-12 educational team working across four school buildings. This is a contract role located near Chester, VT, offering a unique chance to influence students’ daily lives during a pivotal period as the district pilots new projects for the 26/27 school year.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, Behavior Specialist, or in ABA interventions
  • Background working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral support settings
  • A collaborative work style with the ability to adapt to evolving programming and new initiatives
  • Experience supporting individual students and classrooms with behavior management plans
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work under the guidance of district and supervising BCBAs
  • Reliability in maintaining confidentiality and professional standards across varied school environments

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct support to K-12 students with behavioral needs, following established intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with a new district BCBA overseeing the program and, for RBTs, with outside BCBA supervision as preferred
  • Support teachers and staff in behavior management, data collection, and program adjustments throughout four school buildings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment while responding proactively to student needs
  • Participate in training and contribute ideas during the launch of new pilot projects
  • Commit to a full-time schedule; 35–37.5 hours per week, during the 2026–2027 academic year (8/26/26–6/14/27)
