Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by becoming a Behavior Support Provider in a dynamic and evolving school environment near Chester, VT. Multiple opportunities are available for Paraprofessionals, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and ABA professionals who are passionate about supporting positive behavioral change and contributing to innovative pilot programs. This contract role spans from late August through mid-June, with full-time hours (35-37.5 hours per week) and assignments across elementary, middle, and high school levels.

You’ll be part of a district revamping its behavior support program, overseen by a newly appointed district BCBA. While RBTs will benefit from program leadership, there is a preference for additional external BCBA supervision as well. Your initiative and expertise will play a pivotal role in launching new behavioral support projects that will set the standard for future years.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, or in ABA within school settings
  • Background in supporting students with behavioral or emotional needs
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
  • Commitment through the entire academic year (August–June)
  • Certification as an RBT and/or relevant paraprofessional training preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior support plans under BCBA guidance
  • Provide hands-on support and positive reinforcement to students daily
  • Track and document progress using data collection methods
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and behavior specialists
  • Contribute insights and feedback to ongoing pilot projects and program development
