Teacher's Aide - Chesterfield, Missouri

This district is seeking three dedicated Paraprofessionals for the upcoming 26/27 school year. These full-time opportunities offer a collaborative environment where every day brings the satisfaction of helping students succeed.

Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (with a 30-minute lunch)—totaling 28 paid hours per week. You’ll be part of the academic community from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with exact end dates accommodating possible snow days. Caseload details will be provided closer to your start, ensuring the best match for your skills.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a school setting, especially in special education, is highly valued
• Ability to take initiative while effectively following direction from teachers and specialized staff, such as OTs, PTs, SLPs, BCBAs, and Social Workers
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with students both one-on-one and in group settings
• Adaptability and patience when responding to the varied needs of children and classrooms
• Willingness to prepare instructional materials under guidance

Daily Responsibilities:

• Support both teachers and students in special education environments
• Supervise and assist students during individual, small group, or whole class activities
• Implement adaptations, modifications, and strategies as directed by education professionals
• Prepare materials for upcoming lessons and activities
• Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere
